3256 Shady Glen Drive...In at last!

A quick wee post to get some photos online and also a quick update.  I have William off sick with a fever and need to keep unpacking! Here it goes...

It has been a very hectic week with moving into our new house.  We got here on Wednesday but had a few teething problems before we could decide whether to stay the night here or at the apartment - one being the lack of electricity!

However, by mid afternoon we had power so managed to camp out for the night.

The boys started school the following day and we were up early - 6:15 am! What a shock to my system.  They need to be in school between 7:15 and 7:35 am so it will be early to bed and early to rise for me.  Not that I mind, I quite enjoy being up early.

At 1pm the same day our container arrived with 5 strapping men to move everything in - 190 boxes worth! It took them until gone 5pm to get it all in the house and I can tell you that I am sick and tired of opening boxes and finding places to put things! On the upside we are managing to spread everything out and it looks good - not sure how we crammed it all into Applecombe Cottage!!!!

The boys have been enjoying school - long may it continue! Tom has a friend who lives next door called Chris and they have been skateboarding and biking a lot of the weekend.  His mum (Sandy) and Dad (Bernie) seem very nice and near our age so that's cool.  Have met one neighbour next door and one up the road but so far have been so busy with boxes we haven't got any further!

Well, there we have it! As you can see there are still quite a few boxes to get through! I still haven't found my camera either! Anyway, I must go and walk the dog and get on but as a last thing wanted to say Happy 42nd Birthday Steve!
